  3. If you have trouble seeing the text in the opening screens
  4. and in some of the other Dialog Boxes, you have an old copy
  5. of Borland's BWCC.DLL on your computer that must be removed.
  6. We installed the new BWCC.DLL file to your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ 
  7. directory. Most likely if you are having a problem, you will
  8. find the old file in your \WINDOWS directory.

  10. *WELCOME*

  12. Welcome to PayWindow a Payroll Package for Windows from ZPAY
  13. Payroll Systems, Inc. Please read this file before doing 
  14. anything in the program.

  16. The main PASSWORD that will let you enter the program and 
  17. change the password to your own is LAUPREYAM and must be 
  18. entered when you run the program for the first time. You 
  19. can also enter this any time in the future if you want to 
  20. change your password again.

  22. *How To Use PayWindow*
  23.  
  24. The first thing you need to do is to print the Test Drive 
  25. Topic in the help file after entering the PayWindow program. 
  26. You would do this by selecting Help, then selecting the Test 
  27. Drive topic and click Print Topic. 
  28.  
  29. This will show you how to use the PayWindow program and 
  30. aquaint you with its features. We have tried to add as many 
  31. keywords that we could think that would be helpful in finding 
  32. how to do things in PayWindow. If you have any suggestions 
  33. for improving the help file such as keywords or other text, 
  34. please let us know.

  37. *ZPAY 3 to PayWindow Data File Conversion*
  38.  
  39. There were two Icons added to the program group when you 
  40. installed this package. Click the instructions for ZPAY2PW 
  41. and print them. This will allow present users of ZPAY 3 to 
  42. convert their data files to the PayWindow format. If you 
  43. don't need it, or after you've completed the file conversion
  44. you can delete the ZPAY2PW.EXE and ZPAY2PW.TXT files and 
  45. remove the Icons from the program group.

  48. One Important Word Of Caution!!!
  49.  
  50. When you are done with the sample payroll data, and are 
  51. ready to start a new file, do not name it PAYROLL. If you 
  52. do this you will loose your data when you receive any
  53. upgrades in the future from us. You must use a new name
  54. and start from scratch.

  56. ***Upgrading from Version 1.0 or 1.01***
  57.  
  58. If you are upgrading from version 1.0 or 1.01, you must 
  59. delete your employer file and create a new one after 
  60. entering PayWindow. Delete the files with the EMR file
  61. suffix. Our sample file is PAYROLL.EMR as an example. 
  62. You do not have to delete our sample file as it is up
  63. to date with the new file structure.
